Max Chapman and Late Replies deliver tech house 'Fantasy'

Following early 2019 Sola release Formanto, Max Chapman reunites with duo Late Replies and returns to Sola for a tech house EP, Fantasy.

The title track "Fantasy" is a polished triumph with frenetic bass and snappy hi-hats. Propelled by boasting classic house stabs paired with 90’s infused vocals, it exudes sonic warmth that paints a lush soundscape. In comparison, "Sauce" is driven by a more emotive feel with its infectious percussions and an underlying pulsing groove. Playful vocals ebb and flow during the drops, intimately professing an exclusive nature. Wrapping the EP up is another peak time burner "We Move," where rumbling basslines and hypnotic tones are set to ripple to the darkest corners of the warehouse.

With numerous accolades since emerging on the scene in 2011, Max Chapman’s career has ascended over the past few years earning best "Breakthrough" category at the DJ Awards plus multiple Beatport chart-toppers. Whilst releasing elsewhere, Max also runs his Resonance label which has blossomed into a respected imprint with releases from established producers like CamelPhat and the Solardo lads themselves.
