San Diego native Christian Ariza, better known as the producer Rad Cat, has teamed up with L.A. based singer/songwriter Lacey James for a riveting new single, "Love Me."
"Love Me" has all the right ingredients to make you pay attention. Riddled with fuzzy texture, the melancholic pop production features pleading croons and emotional intent. Apparently influenced by synthwave and synthpop numbers. “I’ve always been a fan of the synthwave/synthpop genres and this track was definitely inspired by that, with my own lil twist of course," Rad Cat shares. And the synth-wave influence is particularly prominent in the drops as layers of vaporised synthesizers bring listeners into a retro ‘80s atmosphere. However, this exuberant cut showcases his diversity as a producer and his penchant for musical exploration.
