Like the title suggests, Kyla draws inspiration from her own experiences delivering a heartwarming and groovy piece. Blending future- r&b and reggae elements, Kyla keeps things lively with a fiery vocal performance. The vocals, laid down over a pulsating guitar-driven beat (produced by Sunny Kale) quickly dispel any form of bad vibes trying to dampen her spirit. However "Personal" is more than that. "Personal" is also a statement on many levels.
