Kllo gets "Back To You" with new tune and tour

Australian cousins Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul have returned with their first new music of 2019 as Kllo. Last year, the two shared singles "Potential" and "Candid," but have been consistently touring since their first album. This new track "Back To You" is the first taste of the duo's forthcoming full-length, expected to debut next year.

After spending time in LA, Kllo felt reminded of that "American sound" reminiscent of the early 2000s music from their youth. "We had an old school approach when it came to the recording process by incorporating cassettes for the ad-libs and an old sampler for the main riff,” says Kaul of the track. The result spells a hazy, R&B-infused tale of an on-again, off-again relationship with all it's ups and downs built within the song.

Kllo consistently manages to weave these melancholy, bittersweet soundscapes filled with textured rhythms, swirling melodies, and Kaul’s warm, tender vocals carrying the lyrics. Their signature organic ebb and flow is always a pleasurable listen, and their latest single is no different. Catch Kllo on tour beginning at the end of the month and find "Back To You" out now via Ghostly International, available to stream or download.
