Octopus Recordings founder and mau5trap mainstay Sian just released a brand new techno EP, Ultraviolet 3.0, which is the third and final installment of his Ultraviolet EP series.
The first track "Lupine" starts things off with a thumping yet wonky bassline. Paired with ominous atmospheric sounds, futuristic textures ebb and flow like water. "Oracle," on the other hand, is laden with darkness and sensibility, courtesy of the pulsating bass and ethereal melodies in between. It has the capability to teletransport you to Coachella's Yuma tent. The EP ends on a high note with "Skin Tight," which embraces influences of mid-tempo. It effortlessly creates an eerie soundscape punctuated by moody bass tones and electrifying synth sounds.
