Artemis releases tender video for "Interlude Clear"

Songs that are considered interludes are often short and act as buffers between the more substantial tracks of a longer work. Every once in a while, though, an interlude stands alone. Such is the case for Artemis’ “Interlude Clear,” off her debut EP Glow4meplz from earlier this year. The brief, soulful song went so far as to get the video treatment from the Montreal-based vocalist, who has delivered some fittingly endearing visuals to pair with the heartfelt music.

In keeping with her self-reflective lyrics, the video begins with Artemis strolling up a sunlit path in Montreal’s beautiful Mont Royal Park. Her buttery vocal delivery slides through the mix as she describes a complex relationship with the words, “Didn’t ya know the whole time… that I was acting naïve… I should have known better for myself… but I still want your body.” The latter part of the track features some dreamy instrumentals as Artemis joins Brin Schoelkopf and Tuedon Airiri in the video for a dance sequence that she choreographed with Airiri. The “Interlude Clear” video will bring warm vibes to audiences and should deliver Artemis some well-deserved attention.

Glow4meplz is available to stream here.
