Reed Williams is a budding Los Angeles-based singer and rapper who recently put out his debut project Summer Fling. The project explores the young artist's psyche and how his environment makes him tick with a plethora of songs that reflect issues everyone can relate to. One of the joints of the aforementioned project that really caught our ears is the reflective cut titled "This Time Around" which blends Bay area trap beats with some R&B elements.
"This Time Around" serves as an introduction to the rapper's smooth, melodic flow as he drops personal lyricism over a solemn, guitar laced beat. He delivers his thoughts in a sing-song manner with intimate songwriting. An ardent student of the game, he produced, wrote and mastered the project himself and putting his all into this music. There's a lot of heart that went into it and it's clear upon listening to it.
