Some artists are just meant to be quiet storms. They are the ones that come in dropping heat from the jump and consistently create memorable music without over-doing it. One new artist that is definitely shaping out to be one of those quiet storms is Toronto-based singer/songwriter Blair Lee. Releasing her debut single "Brighter" just two weeks ago, Blair is back with another hit titled "U."

"U" was produced by the ultra-talented ModMaxx, whose credits include Drake, Tinashe, MadeInTYO, and a number of others. He also produced Blair's first single. The bass knocking cut is at the intersection of electro-pop and hip-hop with it's catchy chorus and 808s. Blair's voice effortlessly skates across the track in a perfect contrast to the hard-hitting vibe of the production. Maxx joins Blair on vocals here and there throughout "U".

"U" is an ode to that special someone that knows you better than you know yourself. Blast "U" with that person who knows you better than anyone else. Let's hope Blair keeps the catchy bops coming.
