Since the release of his well-received second album, German producer Satin Jackets has been sharing new interpretations of his original tracks to complete a Solar Nights remix package. The remix album features Eskimo Recordings friends, old and new, reinterpreting several of the album’s obvious favorites. The last remix to be shared is a billowing and bewitching take of “Just Like You” from Dutch producer Knight One.
Combining spacious production with intricate layers of rhythms and chord progressions, Knight One’s remix is certainly a standout. He manages to find the ultimate balance between his own style and the intention of the original mix. It makes for heady yet romantic, R&B-infused soundscape of “Just Like You." You can find it out now digitally along with the rest of the Solar Nights Remixes release.
