Budding Swedish Soul singer and writer, Tyra Chantey makes a grand entry on EARMILK with her debut single "Ocean Seas". The progressive R&B track was recorded back in Stockholm where she teamed up with producer Lisa Bäckström who laces her with an ethereal, laid-back beat that is both soothing and nostalgic.
"Ocean Seas" explores the feeling of being alone but having someone to hold your hand through it. Chantey delivers a very heartwarming performance as she details an emotional tale of being head over heels for that special someone who always finds a way to light up her life. Chantey adds that she wrote the song to capture a reflective summer full of romantic connotations inspired by Frank Ocean’s channel ORANGE.
Chanteys sound is influenced by her multicultural background that consists of both her Swedish and Ugandan roots. Growing up in the outskirts of Stockholm, Tyra honed her vocal skills being part of the gospel choir "Tensta Gospel Choir".
