HEAVN's new single and visual for "Life" embraces the phrase Carpe Diem to the fullest. The track is an honest look at being young, living close to the edge, and the search for the true meaning of being alive. Backed by a lush, anthemic backdrop, HEAVN's passionate vocals cut through like a hot knife in butter as the track reaches a crescendo on the resounding chorus.
The visual, directed by Enea Costetti, follows HEAVN and her crew as they visit different spots in the city. From exotic viewpoints, entrancing choreography, and a whole lot of R and R, HEAVN proceeds to capture the spirit of youthful exuberance in its raw form as the scenes go from happy to melancholic. She adds that the wide shots of the city and the sea, as well as the kids running down the stairs of the famous complex Le Lavatrici overlooking the city of Genoa, are also meant to express the desire for freedom.
