Plàsi's bubbly single "Bright" is a perfect addition to that late-summer playlist

It’s only the beginning of August, which means there is still time to add to summer playlists. Swedish-Greek artist Plàsi’s new single “Bright” is the positive energy we need this season – flowing over with happy ukulele chords.

The second track off of his upcoming EP, “Bright” sends the message that you should embrace those ecstatic, high feelings and let them wash over you. Plàsi describes the song as an “emotional high”; its folk rhythm, light instrumentals, and his cheery voice speak to that truth. Following his 2018 debut album People, Plàsi’s new project brings on Swedish producers Linus and Hannes Hasselberg along with Canadian mixer Tyler Neil Johnson. Summer’s not over yet – and “Bright” is a great reminder that there's still a lot of time left to shine.

Based in Toronto but my mind is always somewhere else. I like coffee, a good banjo solo, and binge-watching British TV shows.
