Following the critically acclaimed 2018 release of his Seth EP on Form Music, burgeoning French techno star The Reactivitz returns to POPOF's esteemed imprint almost exactly one year later for his sophomore outing, Early Reflections. Ahead of its highly anticipated August 2 release, the producer has exclusively shared "Tension" with us, premiering here today at EARMILK.
Chock-full of darkness and kicks, the enigmatic aura that is "Tension" is an instantaneous room-filler—oscillating between the low-end and high-strung snares with robust vivacity. As though throwing us into an augmented reality of grit and endless dust, The Reactivitz combines a plethora of dark, industrial samples for a perfect accord. The track envelops the listener in a storm that progressively builds in booming drums and distorted vocals for a euphoric climax.
One of the fastest rising stars on the techno circuit, French DJ and producer The Reactivitz is one whose skills and perseverance have quickly allowed him to reach the wide support of the electronic music community. Despite his young age, The Reactivitz has already scored several charting hits and has released on world-renowned labels including Suara, Intec, Filth On Acid, and 1605. His sound, characterized by dark atmospheres, loud drums, and groovy bass lines, has been highlighted by many producers worldwide, with support coming from the likes of UMEK, Jay Lumen, Alan Fitzpatrick, Sasha Carassi, and many more. In addition to performing and producing music, The Reactivitz recently launched his own label Immersion which came up with the purpose of enabling him to fully express his vision of techno.
