While Asian-Americans have historically been excluded from the American music industry, Chinese American producer Yultron and Korean American singer Jay Park have started a new wave by quickly making names for themselves through their dynamic styles of music. Following recent collaborations with Marshmello and his best friend Kayzo, Yultron's experimental production shines even brighter as he teams up with Jay Park after finding love on the "West Coast."
Starting off with a vibrant slow tempo beat, Yultron’s eclectic sound becomes apparent from the start. Park's soothing vocals flow in perfect symmetry with Yultron's gentle sound. As the instrumentals begin to echo through the speakers, Yultron uses a subtle amount of bass to balance with Park’s soft voice, initiating a rhythmic groove to the track. Soaking up the sun beachside, Park's voice portrays his sense of happiness in this track, as he may have "found someone he can love on the West Coast." Instilling joy in their listeners one beat at a time, Yultron and Park's personalities flow concurrently throughout the single and we would not have pictured it any other way. This one is about to become a summer classic. With more surprise collaborations on the way, be on the lookout for more updates from Yultron soon.
