From electronic, rap, and even reggae, the boundary-pushing artist known as Party Favor is a force of nature in regards to blurring the boundaries between any genre he produces. Following the release of his profoundly personal and stylistically diverse studio album Layers in April, today he delivers one last treat for his listeners with an acoustic version and music video for his melodic track "Be Ok."
Featuring a stunning performance by LA-based singer EZI, the original version of the track delivers the powerful lyrics with a backdrop of trap and bass. Showcasing a more calming approach to the single, the acoustic version portrays how EZI's velvety vocals truly shine amid instrumental melodies that lend a softer and more emotional feel towards their listeners. The accompanying music video also places focus on EZI which further supports Favor's interest in using his own music as a platform to develop rising artists.
