Esteemed label Hottrax unveils their newest addition to the family, hosting Italian producer Aiuko's debut release Culture. Featuring two rhythmic club cuts, Culture initiates a darker modulation to dance music, one that frequents the edge of acid and experimental—and rises.
Opening with "Culture", the title track sees acid-tinged bass engulf all senses of the listener. Unrestrained in its repeated percussive elements and swaying synths, Aiuko amps up the tempo with carefully curated groove, exposing tight loops that shine in all its acidic sensibilities and dive deep into its oscillating frequencies with credence. On the other hand, "Choke" sees the Italian producer explore the inkier side of house; drenched in mysticism and white noise effects, clashing keys and nodding percussions amalgamate into a unique exploration of sonic garnishes.
As one half of White Brothers alongside his brother, Francesco Bianco has released on high calibre labels like Little Helpers, Moan and Deeperfect, as well as performed across Europe and the UK.
