Budding rapper and producer TwizzMatic is all about growth, progression, and bravado which he displays in mounds on his song "FLIP" backed by a colorful visual. On this track, he does his thing on the microphone while Bodega Brown crafts a lo-fi head nodding backdrop to complete the cipher.
"FLIP" may be short but it's quite powerful as Twizzmatic uses every line judiciously. He details his experiences with negative people who try to throw him off-course but instead, he uses the negativity to boost his morale. His calm demeanor and passionate flow show how intent he is in reaching the apex, as he encourages the listener to dispel all distractions and flip the bad into good or even something greater. The visual has a vibrant and vivid feel courtesy of director TinaMusicAddict ( of JSDFY Films) who captures Twizzmatic in his element in an unknown bodega. Along for the ride is his girl whom he pays homage to on the chorus. The visual is accentuated by the smooth animation that is triggered by Twizzmatic's lyrics and mannerisms. Solid and quite engaging from top to bottom.
The record is the closing track on his recently released Quarter Warter EP
