Berlin-based New Yorker Demetrius is sliding into our inbox with a moody dance floor burner. Showing off his musical versatility in his new single "Sacrifice," Demetrius Subbaiah fuses elements of electronica with his Trinidadian roots. His sound lies somewhere between introspective electronic pop and dramatic synth-driven house for his own fusion of house-meets-techno sounds.
"Sacrifice" comes in collaboration with Black Diamonds Records and enlists the production skills of Brazilian House DJ Joyce Muniz. Together the pair craft a hypnotic record with a slight beat. His label shares, “On 'Sacrifice,' Demetrius croons about life after lost love.
