NYC based producer Reckonize Real has teamed up with the legendary West coast lyricist Blu for his second single titled "Gold Coast" along with the release of a trippy animated music video.
The jazz-infused record has a nostalgic vibe that fits Blu's vivid description of life in the city of angels over a dreamy infectious flute loop. Blu is in his element here as he waxes poetic over the airy production giving non-residents a clear view of the ups and downs of the city. The video is directed and animated by Megan Palero, who provides colorful and psychedelic images of a literally blue humanoid going on a journey through his own mind and beyond.
