French producer Anoraak is back with the first of many remixes to come. His Satin Jackets “Mirage” remix appears as part of the Solar Nights Remixes album which will be released next month. Anoraak’s take on “Mirage” injects steamy Parisian and classic disco vibes for a chic spin on the original.
Fusing those sleek and romantic “Mirage” elements while bringing the disco heat, Anoraak’s remix is perfect for the hottest months of summer. It still flirts with you, but with a serious intent in the groove department. Crisp percussion and a driving bass line carry the track while silky shots of strings, synths, and guitar licks layer together with ribbons of vocals to complete the experience.
Alongside Anoraak, the Satin Jackets remix album will feature alternate versions by Antenna, NTEIBINT, The Oddness, Night One, and Carl Louis. Look for its release via Eskimo Recordings in July.
