It feels like a lifetime since California's Cody Lovaas first released his debut single in 2017. Since then, his earnestly penned songs have amassed a loyal following of adoring fans with hearts on their sleeves and earbuds in their ears. The most recent single, "Finally Fallen", is a rose-coloured tale of a blossoming love and the moment of acceptance. Its blushing visuals – premiering on EARMILK – serve as a mere extension of Lovaas' authentic self, with hand-picked locations and intimate moments.
Following Lovaas and his romantic partner around dazed memories, the video encapsulates the potency of a burgeoning love, with all its sunny days and starry nights. Though seemingly simple on the surface, it's the little details that make this video so pure. It's in the hands – they way they can't keep them off each other, and it's in the lingering glances and choreographed embraces. It's in the way Lovaas urgently belts, "I think I might have finally fallen", luring us deeper into the safe space he has created. When sharing his vision for the video, Lovaas explains that "I wanted this video to be as honest as the song is so throughout the video, I‘m taking you to some of the places I fell in love with this girl at.”
