OCULA's debut 'Solstice' EP is the springtime progressive jewel you need

Progressive dance rising talent OCULA has just released his Solstice EP by way of genre's champion Lane 8's This Never Happened label.  The full-length uplifting arrangement of melodic productions are a smooth, refreshing five-track expedition through driving, ethereal soundscapes. Available today across all platforms, be sure to give OCULA's Solstice EP a thorough listen.

The tonnage and ethereal atmospheric elements found in the opening track “Ivory” paint an appropriately pure mental image on the first of the five-stop journey through ‘Solstice’. Followed close behind, the EP’s title track “Solstice” builds a driving energy maintained in minor-key.

The additional tracks like “Alpine” is an uplifting, inspiring and upward climbing production painting sharp contrast between the next track “Republic”, the hardest hitting and certainly the most pragmatic track on OCULA’s debut EP.  The body of work is tied together by the ambient, minimal leaning closing track “By The Lake” leaving listeners soothed and serene.

OCULA is thrilled to release a definitively whole collection of works on one of the genre's labels held highest in esteem. His immersion in deep progressive came about through a coveted spot on the recent Anjunadeep Vol. 10 compilation, followed by a single release on This Never Happened and ultimately Solstice. OCULA's debut full-length offers a blissful moment of reprieve. Filled with delicate synths and angelic atmospherics, the arrangement helps provide the listener with a genuine sense of clarity.
