If you or a loved one are constantly on the road, you know nothing's better than that moment of finally connecting with them once again. Shopé's latest summer banger "When You Land" strikes a balance between the longing of missing a loved one, but excitement to be in their presence once again. The Nigerian-native, Toronto-based singer has dipped into his Afrobeat roots to create a colourful construct of Afropop, hip hop and R&B, which he calls "Afrosfusion". In a fashion that is vulnerable yet bold, "When You Land" emphasizes the importance of communication in relationships, especially when distance often stands in the way.
