Born and raised on the isle of Ibiza, Christian and Alan Anadon, also known as the Mambo Brothers, spent their formative years listening to top tier DJs at the iconic Café Mambo. With their name paying homage to the iconic Balearic venue, the pair play in the clubs from San Antonio to Playa D'en Bossa during the summer season, and further afield for brands like Abode, Defected, Tomorrowland and Elrow. As Ibiza comes back to life the Mambo Brothers have dropped a heavy house heater in the form of "If You Wanna", just in time for the sun-soaked dancefloors and all night parties.
Released today on Armada's house-focused pillar, Armada Subjekt, "If You Wanna" is an immediate anthem. Coming in with feel-good filtered synths from the get go, the track rolls along a grooving bassline. It's effortlessly uplifting and brimming with good vibes, utilising vocal chops and catchy melodic loops to push "If You Wanna" in an almost disco-sounding direction.
