2019 has been a year of reflection for DJ Zinc. He's released consistent new singles, including his latest, "That Sound," that explores the bass style he's picked up in the past decade. But with his track "Something New," the East London producer has returned to the style that he helped pioneer: drum and bass.
Featuring Reigns on vocals, "Something New" is a modern visitation to Zinc's past, as he uses this year to build up a new repertoire of vocal tracks. In celebration of the release, Zinc joined us for an exclusive guest mix featuring drum and bass and the house and bass music he's been playing out in his performances. "It's a perfect glimpse into what I’m playing in the clubs right now, banging basslines across my favourite genres – the ‘Conditioning’ track with Lorenzo has been smashing it lately, and I had to include my edit of ‘Saved Soul’ – a freshen up of one of my favourite tracks ever."
The mix also includes IDs, some of which are upcoming collaborations with artists like Chris Lorenzo.
