Blueface Baby is back again with some fire, and still offbeat, bars. This week the 22-year-old Los Angeles gangsta rapper drops major heat in the music video for his latest song “Stop Cappin”.

The music video kicks off with Blueface as a janitor facing beef with haters supposedly trying to catch him slipping. Yet the rapper flips the script by mopping the floor, hiding the wet sign, and catching his haters slipping instead of him. Blueface constantly enforces the narrative that his haters are waiting to see him fall off from his new and very successful rap career, but, as he mentions on the track “Stop Cappin”, “How can I slip if I'm the one doing the mopping?” From riding around in luxury cars to cryp walking while mopping the floor, Blueface informs all on his latest track that no one can deny that his rap career is really popping off.

In 2018, Blueface released his album titled Famous Cryp and his popular song “Thotiana” immediately received a lot of attention from fans. Today, “Thotiana” has become one of the most recognized songs by the new and upcoming rapper worldwide. Such popularity has led Blueface to be able to collaborate with several hip-hop greats from Cardi B to G-Eazy and even YG. With the “Stop Cappin” music video already receiving over 2 million views on YouTube in just two days, we can only hope for bigger and better things to come for Blueface in the future.

Blueface is currently a special guest on The New Generation Tour with Lil Baby and City Girls
