Brooklyn-via-Boston's favorite electro-pop artist pronoun has chosen quite the song to close out the set of singles for her new album, 'i'll show you stronger' (May 24). "sadie", the third and final single off Vellturo's forthcoming album, is yet another frenetic dazzler complete with fuzzy guitars and urging lyrics, written about three years ago during SWSX (around the time her debut album was released). Quick success can make you realize quickly that your old life and the people in it are just not right for you, and seeing how much your worth can be eye-opening.  The song captures this perfectly, and everyone's life moves on, even without you in it. Listen below.

"I wrote this song skateboarding around SXSW 2016," Alyse Vellturo says of the song. "I had just started the project and was meeting so many new people and musicians and everything was starting to fall into place. I was so thankful and excited to start a new life and career on my own and leave everything I knew behind."

pronoun has done an extremely good job of whetting our appetites for her debut album (out May 24), and we can say with certainly that it will be as good as 2016's EP, 'There's No One New Around You.' (yes, that's a Tinder reference), a 4-song masterpiece that captures perfectly the crushing feeling of truly being alone behind a screen, and how it feels to be disconnected on a device meant to connect you to everyone in the world.

With the album on the horizon, Vellturo has also announced a string of east coast US dates with Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties and Diva Sweetly, kicking off at the end of March at Montage Music Hall in Rochester, NY. A full list of dates can be found below, and tickets are here.

“I hope i'll show you stronger can give listeners some relief—and maybe the songs get stuck in their heads,” Vellturo says. “It’s relevant to so many things. Mostly, it’s about fixing a situation and emerging as a stronger person.” You can pre-save 'i'll show you stronger' here.
