Boise, Idaho-based Kai Wachi is releasing his debut album, DEMIGOD, and has released the debut single off of the forthcoming album called "BREAK" on Kannibalen Records. If this sinister single is a hint at what we can expect from the self-professed "bass lord," then headbangers alike are in for a gut-punching treat.
Kai Wachi opens "BREAK" with a steel-shattering drum step rhythm and percussion. An atmospheric arpeggio sprints around the backend of the piece while a wet and silky mid-bass synth pierces your ears. The drop comes around with a screeching range of synths jumping out on beat. Kai Wachi immediately builds into the second drop, which unleashes as a fiery trap drop. "BREAK" is a showcase as to who Kai Wachi is and what fans around the globe can expect from him in the future.
Expect to hear DEMIGOD played out in full at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Global Dub this Spring.
