For lovers of techno, minimal and all that goes in between, Dutch producer Joren Edwards' newest EP For The Terrace, is but a dream come true. Debuting on Archie Hamilton's Moss Co., the Utrecht-based twenty-two year old continues to garner attention with his delectable groove and polished beats since emerging on the scene last year.

Propelled by nine minutes of rolling drums, title track "For The Terrace" embodies melancholic intensity—an incredibly reposed and sophisticated sound. Edwards steadily builds up momentum with shimmering arps while a deep, soulful voice weaves in and out for a lulling session laced with acid overtones. "Change" offers a contrast, utilizing an open-hat shuffle ahead of shimmering chord stabs for an undeniably memorable minimal cut. Lastly, Edwards ends For The Terrace with a space-y synth fusion track aptly named "Searching For You". Brooding yet dreamy, the producer showcases a polished dub sound, pushed foward by a steady bass groove and modulated hi-hats.

A music production student at the infamous Herman Brood Academy, Edwards has gained support from the likes of Benny Rodrigues and Archie Hamilton. Beyond his production, he also DJs across Holland, performing at respected clubbing institutions like Amsterdam's Shelter, Thuishaven, Straf_werk, Basis and the late Sugarfactory.
