Los Angeles-via-Hood-River band flor has released a visual for their new song, "slow motion", the first single off their upcoming sophomore album. The video, directed by Jade Ehlers (who has worked with the band before on similarly aesthetic videos for "Guarded”, “Overbehind”, and “Heart”) features the four trapped in glass cases in the middle of the mountains, blissfully rocking out as they are pelted with sand and dirt from above. The alt-pop four-piece is no stranger to the aesthetic, relatively vague video; it fits their music well. Watch below.
"slow motion” follows the December release of “get behind this”, and is flor’s first new music since the re-release of their debut full-length, come out. you’re hiding (2018) via Fueled By Ramen. The album included long-loved favorites such as “hold on” and “back again”, and saw the band in these past two years supporting Paramore, Hayley Kiyoko, and Walk The Moon on tour.
Fresh off a stateside tour with Andrew Mcmahon in the Wilderness and fellow indie band Grizfolk, flor will be embarking on yet another headlining UK/EU tour come May. flor is eager to hit the road again, and will be spending the better part of May trekking across the European Union.
