Berlin-based singer-songwriter Ed Prosek returns with his first single of the year, “Wisdom.” It’s a lush effort where Prosek guides us through the process of opening up our hearts in the most fragile state we may find ourselves in. It’s the kind of track that can serve as the remedy for the crisis and chaos of feeling lost, confused, and unaware of the path you’re walking on.

Caught in the sonic elements of soft acoustics and tender arrangements, “Wisdom” provides a steady stream of emotions from start to finish. Prosek’s vocals occupy graceful beauty with stirring moments of sensitivity and vulnerability. The new single ruminates through the concepts of taking that leap of faith even when reluctance and distress cease your best.

Ed says this of new his track, “'Wisdom’ is about the strength it takes to open up and let someone else into your heart; that momentary fight-or-flight hesitation where you must reject the easy path and open yourself up to all the fears and doubts that come with loving someone fully. ‘Wisdom’ is the feeling of that moment when you ask, ‘Am I brave enough to do this?’ before steeling yourself and diving deep.”

“Wisdom” is the first song lifted from Ed’s upcoming EP, Light As A Feather. His most recent releases were the 2018 singles, “Say Goodbye” and “I Was Wrong.”
