Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tallsaint (aka Louisa Osborn) shares her latest alt-pop track "Warm Skin", released via indie label Dance to The Radio.
The Leeds-based artists combines pulsating disco beats with dreamy, hazy vocals to deliver a three minute piece of indie-pop perfection. Built upon a bass synth patch, the track captures the intimate moment of waking up next to someone you adore; "this is the first song I've written in my life about subject matter so blisssful" she admits.
Despite that feeling coming "from me opening my eyes to see my cat [PJ Harvey] asleep next to me", "Warm Skin" displays a captivating vulnerability and tenderness. It's shiny pop rhythms and alternating bassline are elegantly produced, perfecting Tallsaint's best track to date.
Likened to St Vincent and Lykke Li, this is an artist ready to make an impact with their infectious glittering synths. Continuing to blur the boundaries of electro and dreampop, the ever-adapting sound of Tallsaint promises an exciting future for the talented artist.
Tallsaint's debut EP Hard Love is out 20th June.
