"Section 8" is the second single from Kinston, NC's Jackie Spade, who is preparing to drop his debut album later in the month. The song serves as Spade's audio biography in many ways as he brings to the forefront the seemingly dark environment in which he was raised. Over a soulful, solemn instrumental, he talks about the daily hardship that forced his hand into unsavory things but also made him tougher. Spade sounds remorseful but also grateful for the lessons he learned during those times, and brings in Dreamville’s very own Lute who gives his own personal take on the matter. The song is tied up with an uplifting hook and glorifying message, making it a hymn to be sung by angels across the ghettos of the world.
"Section 8" will serve as the second official single from Jackie Spade's forthcoming debut album Aurafication (due out 2/22 via Champion Sound Recordings and Rapper Big Pooh's Common Cents Media Group). In case you missed it you may recognize Jackie's voice from the 2015 BET Hip Hop Cypher alongside Joyner Lucas, Charles Hamilton, and Tink.
