Parisian talent Timothée Suillaud, aka Blazers, has emerged as a budding favourite of many within France’s ever-evolving house and disco scene over recent years, with appearances at notable institutions including Panic Room Paris and La Belle Electronique. Having released his original of "Side2Side" on Skint back in November 2018, the label now reveals a fresh interpretation for 2019 from UK duo Cousn.
Whilst the original is a fantastically groovy nu-disco creation, the UK duo's exposition is a house remastering that flows smoothly with its disco grooves. From the skipping percussion licks to their use of the original hazy funk-fueled chords, Cousn whips the spiraling synth lines into an infectious sample of dance and euphoria, delivering a playful slice of house through the woozy vocals.
