Super Duper fires off "Canons" with cinematic echoes trailing behind

Having closed out 2018 with strong releases like "Vessels to You" and "Horizons," Nashville producer Super Duper lights the fuse on his first release of 2019, "Canons," which features JMR.

"When I as writing the song, I was thinking about how the majority of the problems I have in a relationship stem from wounds inflicted in the past," says JMR. "The more self-aware I become the more grateful I am for those who love me through my healing and help me break down the barriers I've set around myself."

Super Duper and JMR's "Canons" get started with a heavy low-pass filter that filter a blissful pad and percussive elements. JMR's vocals come through almost immediately. Super Duper's mixing and instrument placement are as distant as the echoes from an alpine horn on the tops of the Swiss Alps. The echos and atmosphere carry wonderfully across the spectrum. Certainly Super Duper fired this canon at the right time.

With Super Duper already having toured with artists like The Chainsmokers, The Glitch Mob, and Big Wild, the Nashville-based artist will continue to light the fuses on forthcoming releases. Furthermore, he'll be bringing these chaotic and cinematic releases on tour with Kasbo and Petit Biscuit this fall.
