NYC-based singer-songwriter Tan Brown has shared with us her new song "Elephants" and its accompanying visual. On it, she packs quite a lot of weight in her signature hazy vocal style and ethereal textures that feel like a soundtrack from a dream. The self-produced song details a dispute between a couple from a third party's viewpoint and proceeds to address the figurative elephant in the room. Her first release since 2017, "Elephants" is a collaboration with trombone player and engineer, So Lo, who adds a certain surreal touch to the ambient instrumentation with his live horns. After hearing the track, director Marcell and his team at Usina gave visual to this story through footage of dancers – a physical interpretation of the fight to find balance in love.
