Nina Nesbitt released the music video for her heartbreaking single “Is It Really Me You’re Missing” today alongside her intensely anticipated album The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change. There is an obvious creative energy present within this video. If that is any indication of the album itself, it’s safe to say the entire collection will be just as breathtaking as its pieces. The Scottish singer-songwriter takes to horseback in the stunning visual representation of her beautiful pop ballad.
Filmed in Eidsvoll, Norway, Nesbitt contemplates those unanswered, post-love questions. The video begins in a snowy wilderness, with Nesbitt surrounded by fir trees and purple-pink skies. From scenes of self destruction to self transformation, the qualities of intensity and beauty colour this video. “Is It Really Me You’re Missing” is just one chapter in Nesbitt’s story. About the album, she says that “it’s an honest account of somebody in their early ‘20s, giving a real window into their often ever changing life.”
Embarking on her first ever headlining tour, Nina Nesbitt is hitting cities across North America. See a full list of tour dates here.
