Flora Cash endure life's relentless struggles in romantic single "They Own This Town" [Video Premiere]

There's an inescapable relatability found in the music that comes from Flora Cash. It's the kind of honest songwriting that listeners can find a deep personal familiarity with. Alongside artists like Billie Eilish, Maggie Rogers, and Francis and the Lights, Flora Cash is on the front lines of modern musicians redefining alt-pop by injecting their music with heartfelt conviction. Flora Cash's latest single "They Own This Town" delivers a dazzling piano-driven anthem with a romantic message of strength and perseverance.

A beautiful piano melody and a tender whispering vocal gently takes you by the hand and leads you into this anthemic chorus that fills your heart with a whirlwind of emotion. Flora Cash's latest single "They Own This Town", as well as the accompanying video, does a fantastic job at capturing an intimate interaction of someone calling out to their partner to remain strong during the struggles that life brings. The highly-personal narrative of the track is equally an anxious plea as it is a hopeful message of the future.

"We wanted the lyric video for They Own This Town to be authentic, symbolic and to reflect the message of the song in a powerful way. The video is kind of a probe of the song's "unconscious underbelly;" in that way we think that it will speak to people on different levels. We were fortunate enough to collaborate with the very talented animator and director JonJon who brought our idea for the video to life with his signature stream-of-consciousness animation style. In close collaboration with him, we worked to fill the video with enough meaning and suggestion that even upon repeat viewings, it will be a challenge to catch everything." Flora Cash

Mesmerizing, catchy, and beautifully personal, Flora Cash continues to deliver music from the heart that's winning over fans alike. Now, with almost 26 million views on Youtube, their last single "You're Somebody Else" was one of the most Shazamed Alternative records of last year and has helped Flora Cash to quickly become a household name. The duo is surely an act much deserving of their place on the top of the charts and are producing the kind of music that will surely get them there.

In April, Flora Cash will be hitting the road with lovelytheband on their North American tour. Tour dates below:
