Inspired by the post apocalyptic film known as Mad Max, Allen Mock envisions his music to portray traditional sounds with a futuristic twist. By crafting a dynamic approach for his love of cyber and steampunk, Tae Hong Kim brings the old school vibe with a glitch of madness to his production style. If you are prepared to enter a dimension of Mock's world consisting of pure synth and low tempo bass lines, his past remix with Herbalistek on Zomboy's "Light's Out" should be your next stop. In recent support of ATLiens at the infamous underground nightclub known as Circus Tokyo, this Tokyo-based producer played an all original set consisting of several unreleased tracks to leave the crowd in awe for more. Pleasing all those hybrid trap enthusiasts, his recent flip on Soltan's "Sahara" fuels the track with a dose of nasty bass and a destructive instrumental sound to personify that Middle Eastern vibe the original entails.
After playing EDC Japan the past two years, keep an eye on Mock for upcoming collaborations which may entice you to get a little weird in the club.
