One of techno's greats, Carl Cox remains an absolute authority in dance, a continuous force in consistency and humble passion as he constantly challenges himself for even greater music production. Returning to Circus Recordings, the British legend remakes "Dark Alleys" and releases it under the Dark Alleys (Remixes) package as a further testament to his sonic prowess—joined by techno powerhouses Nic Fanciulli and Deetron.

True to Cox's signature techno, "Dark Alleys" is brooding package of bass and repetitive percussions—a tempest of despotic rhythms and flawlessly executed snares. On the other hand, Fanciulli further emphasizes the bass for a grittier audio experience with a house-bounce whilst Deetron's acid take on the track showcases an almost eerie tribal affair.
