Canadian duo WE ARE FURY are kicking off 2019 with their long-awaited trap collaboration with Crystal Skies. Their latest release, the mysterious and dark melodic track "Looking For You" just dropped on New York-based label Lowly. The track features LA-based recent ICON Collective graduate Pauline Herr, who adds her own unique touch to the vocals and brings the record to life.
The somber trap/future bass hybrid sets a frightening tone from the start with the energy of Pauline's vocals. The emotional record tells a story of an individual in pain due to a loss of a presence important to them; constantly searching the crowd for their face one last time. The production conveys the narrative through tumbling bass and snares. WE ARE FURY capped off 2018 with a performance in their hometown of Vancouver at Contact Festival. The year to come looks promising as the duo continue to showcase their production and live performance.
