Encompassing all things bass-heavy and deep-hitting, VOLAC have proven themselves as the current kings of the Russian dance scene through hit after hit. Succeeding acts such as Swanky Tunes, the production duo are the current kings of the Russian dance scene.Since their 2014 release of "Drug Dealer", the steadfast g-house duo have since grown their repertoire with heady compositions and extravagantly murky stereoscapes fit for the underworld. On their latest, VOLAC returns to Night Bass with their newest EP Funky.

Upbeat and ominous, Funky is a classic VOLAC EP, delivering booming kicks, and infectiously looping bass lines, the release will bring listeners deep into the pulsing abyss of house music. Title track "Funky" is a groovy piece, opening with pulsing bass lines that quickly hastens in gut-wrenching snares – grabbing us on the way down to a world of catastrophic funk. Notably, VOLAC's insertion of catchy vocal chops adds to the restless melody, hitting listeners hard with each drop. In contrast, "Bass So Low" slows it down a notch but draws listeners in with heavy hi-hats instead. Mesmerizing vocals paired with the infectious lyrics, fuse beautifully for the perfect dance beat layered with cosmic sonic overtones.

The duo will take the stage with Night Bass label boss AC Slater during a stop on their Funky tour that makes its way through the United States and Canada.
