NY-based DJ and producer Matt Medved delivers a vibrant dance floor remix to "Happier" —the recent collaborative single between EDM producer Marshmello and indie-rock band Bastille.
Medved rearranges a few of the radio-ready productions of the original to create a more vivacious new dance track. For starters, Medved maintains the purity of Bastille's dazzling vocals but trades in the classic anthemic EDM trumpets on the drop for a more elegant violin section—a masterful switch that brings a gentle fluidity to the new remix and helps it flow steadily from start to finish. The remix overhauls the original percussions bringing in a new light-hearted bounce making this a dance floor ready house track. It's an elegant new remix and the steady flow of the track brings an added ambient feel to it that you can easily close your eyes and get lost to.
