Cousins Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam have been quick to become favorites as electronic duo Kllo. Textured rhythms and heady productions combined with Chloe’s warm, soulful voice provide the recipe for perfection. Since the release of their debut album Backwater, the two have wasted no time with new music in between tour dates around the world. Last spring Kllo released “Potential” and the two have returned with another single and video called “Candid.”
Fans will enjoy chewing on a new track. “Candid” features Kllo’s signature emotive, organic flow mixed with crisp, yet soothing backing melodies. It’s definitely a track you can bounce to as you sway—something danceable and simultaneously serene. Paired with a raw and honest video of seemingly home footage, it matches the feelings and sense of reflection found in the song’s music and lyrics.
