London-based three piece band Calva Louise has given us visuals for their single “I Heard A Cry”. The music video is complete with an energetic street chase featuring a frustrated theatre actor, which matches the liveliness of the head-banging single itself.
Fast paced and imaginative, the video shows everyone on the street turning into a sketched out version of a horned threat. Our protagonist is seen fleeing these rhino heads through the graffiti decorated streets. His movements are in sync with the track's distinct guitar riffs. Speaking on the track, the band explains the meaning behind its subject matter, and it's not hard to see the relevancy to the current political climate of 2018.
“I Heard A Cry” deals with the misinformation we often feel regarding what’s happening elsewhere in the world. But at the same time, it’s about the will of many people who are trying to inform themselves”
Calva Louise has just announced an upcoming United Kingdom live tour in March. These shows will be following their debut album due out early 2019.
