The new single "Know My Name" from Montreal-based artist Sara Diamond is an action call of some sorts. The singer decides to take the initiative literally and figuratively on the sultry record, pointing her partner in the right direction. Her smooth buttery vocals and fiery lyrics show a more exploratory side of her performance and songwriting. The production also goes up a notch with its slow build, moving in to lively switch-ups at perfect points along the way.
"Know My Name" is taken from Diamond's recently released EP titled Foreword. The seven-track project as she puts it "…is about crossing the barrier of fear into the unknown and the songs represent a mesh of fantasy and realistic vibes...".
