American singer-songwriter Jake Spooner recently released "Lost," a pop-rap hybrid featuring the Big Guwop himself, Gucci Mane. Produced by CRIS and three-time Grammy nominated producer SmashDavid, the single recently received a robust remix bundle featuring seven reworks that traverse the dance music genre spectrum. It is Conor Ross and Uplink's edit, however, that rises above the pack.
Conor Ross and Uplink go the house route, warping the original to a jaunty 124 BPM and dropping an absolute flamethrower of a future bounce remix. The drop features bubbly synth work and warm, distorted vocals that really highlight the young producers' outstanding sound design capabilities. Also, the remix is all the more impressive when you take into account the fact that Conor Ross is fifteen-years-old. The kid can't even legally purchase spray-paint and his music is rocking the very nightclubs he can't even enter.
