Leftwing & Kody (real names Jon Kong and Chris Adie) have been gracious enough to mix an hour of non stop energy for us ahead of their tour that sees them touch down in Toronto at CODA and Sound Nightclub in LA among other stops. The duo burst onto the scene with an explosive tech house sound in 2012 and have not looked back since, releasing on esteemed labels like Viva, Truesoul, Mobilee and Knee Deep In Sound, and launching their own label Lost Records. Driving basslines and tight percussive grooves are offered in excess here, and there's no doubt the guys have found a style that works on the dance floor, having held Ibiza residencies at legendary clubs like Sankeys at a Viva Warriors night.
The mix here doesn't stray too far outside what you would hear on a given night from the duo in a club, and they sent us a quote to describe that as well – "Leftwing & Kody DJ sets are always focused on bringing as much energy and groove to the table as possible. For this mix we've tried to condense a full club set into just an hour to give you a snapshot of what you can expect on the current tour. Best enjoyed with the volume turned up to 11."
