LA-based record label Gari Recs has had the heat running high on their first debut record "Rising" by Anabel Englund, Matt Ossentjuk, Human Life, and Mont Blvck. The label is back with their second release, this time featuring as a solo project, LA-based duo Mont Blvck.
"Letting Go" is a dive into darker beat-driven dance music. It blends live instruments, steady basslines and deep vocals. Mont Blvck, aka Jackson Englund and Diego Cuevas, have crafted a song that expresses what stepping far out of your comfort zone feels like. With big names like, Tame Impala, Mac Demarco, Nicolas Jaar and MGMT, Mont Blvck have a lot of amazing infleunces within their music. They share, "On the more electronic side of things Jamie Jones has some amazing tunes coming out on his labels, Damian Lazarus always brings a unique vibe with his music and sets, and iO (Mulen) has some really interesting grooves that inspire us."
