Techno icon Nicole Moudaber has taken on a new project equally of her own stature in the electronic music industry. The MOOD Records owner, producer, DJ and radio host has announced she will release two new remixes as apart of an EP where she puts her own spin on two of electronic veteran Moby's latest tracks. Out now on vinyl and due out via digital streaming services on October 5, Moudaber has merged down the rabbit hole techno with Moby's canvas of melancholy electronica on an EP entitled Adoption.
This forthcoming two track work will feature a remixes of Moby tracks from his 2018 album Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt. The first sees the two artists together on "Like A Motherless Child," where we see Moudaber paint an extra slow built tech track with an expert hand. While its beat might be in your face, its subtle energy remains enough to be a powerful intro track even on a festival stage. The second, a rework of"Mere Anarchy," takes a futuristic viewpoint on brooding techno in a way that has become Moudaber's signature throughout her career.
